Baby carrier cover - Part 3

Finally I'm done! :) I sewed the elastics and added the snaps. Now the all-season carrier cover is ready to use! :)
Soooo lovely :)

Ok, you are right. The hood is still missing. Now I am out of the pink lining fabric, so I need to sew it later. I will come back with it, I promise ;)

Baby carrier cover - Part 2

Almost done. :)
I sewed the water resistant part and the lining parts are almost done. So I'm close to the end. :)
Some elastic and snaps are missing. Hopefully I can finish it on Monday.

This is how it looks like now:

Baby carrier cover - Part 1

I was thinking about autumn and winter... how will I carry my daughter? I decided to sew a carrier cover/blanket.
First step is to find out the style.

Parameters:
- all-season blanket
- be very-very warm! :)
- water resistant

So I started to draw (comments are in hungarian, but the numbers are the same in every language ;) ):

Parts to cut:

Plan the parts on the fabric:
First one is the water resistant part, the second one is the liner part:

After the planning let's get the scissors! :)

The folded water resistant part:

The same shape are cutted from liner fabric:

A smaller one to make the blanket warmer.

Now I have to sew and that's all..
to be continued...
